African Caribbean Drumming and Dance Company

Workshops

Skins and Feet are a premier provider of highly creative workshops throughout the UK. Prices start from as little as £250 per workshop per day and large discounts for multi bookings.
Africa.
Bring the rhythms of Africa to your school or workplace with traditional African dance and drumming workshops. Learn how music and dance form a central part of community life, and how the drum, like the heartbeat has always marked the rhythm of life in African culture.
Brazil.
Bring the carnival atmosphere to you with the unmistakeable rhythm of brazil. Samba is at the heart of Brazilian culture and has always been intertwined with celebration. In these workshops we explore carnival music and dance and link them to events such as the world cup 2014 and the Olympics 2016.
Caribbean.
The different islands that make up the Caribbean are diverse in culture and reflect this in many ways, music and dance being one of them. From calypso music in the southern islands of Trinidad and Tobago to reggae and ska music of Jamaica. These workshops will show how African and European cultures combine to produce a rich mix of sounds and movement.
